Blue Iris

I am just getting started with Blue Iris and there has been some confusion in getting my camera to work properly.

I can get the camera to zoom with the mouse wheel, however the pan and tilt do not work.

The CamHipro software operates the camera but does not have the possibilities as Blue Iris.

I would appreciate any help possible.

Hi Bill,

Is this camera type/model included in the BI5 settings ? If so it should work. If not, you either need to find out if it is a clone of a known camera, or ask Support if they can figure it out. If they have the time (and you have an active support plan) they may even connect to your pc to have a look.

I note that the Boavision website actually states that this camera will work with Blue Iris, so this looks very positive:

Might be worth giving Boavision a prod too and they state support@boavision.com will answer within 24 hours.

Went to Boavision.com and found a download for Boavision with Blue Iris. I don't know how I missed it. The PTZ is working fine now.
