Android App Using HTTPS

Just set up and bought Blue Iris yesterday. I've configured stunnel and https works fine for a web browser. But the Android App does not work over https. I've configured the server both with and without :443 on the end. The app only seems to work over port 80. I'm only configuring for Internal access right now and I'll configure my firewall after I get internal working.
Does the android app only work over http?
