EZVIZ CTQ3W

Post by mcvpjd3 »

I'm thinking of buying some of these Ezviz cameras (https://www.ezvizlife.com/uk/category/o ... rt-cams/17) specifically the C3W range. Does anyone know if they work with BI?

I'd be wary...the specs don't mention anything about ONVIF or RTSP, but they do mention the "EZVIZ proprietary protocol".

Protocol EZVIZ cloud proprietary protocol
Interface Protocol EZVIZ cloud proprietary protocol

My guess is that they won't connect to BI, but I'd call them to verify it one or the other.

I just managed to connect the LC1C (floodlight) camera to BI. Details are in the today's post in this thread https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=662, but my reply is not approved yet at the time of this post, should be soon. Summary: cannot be autodiscovered, but rtsp:// to the camera IP address with admin userid and "Verification Code" from the QR code label or the EZVIZ App for the password works. Reliability is TBD, I just set this up, only time will tell.
