Is there a way to change the BI new camera defaults before I add a lot of cameras? I'm putting a new system in and I'd like to be able to optimize BI for performance because I intend on having a lot of cameras on this server.
I want to change the camera defaults to include a camera password other than "admin", to pre-select Direct-to-Disk, change Max Rate for streaming, and any other default camera settings that might impact Blue Iris performance.
Is there a config file or some place to change the defaults?

Sorry for the delay in seeing this. You probably already added your cameras.
In the past, 've tried to find the default settings... config file, registry.
What I ended up doing was to define one camera, then export the camera. Add a new camera with 'type' of 'Import from exported .reg file', and then change the IP address and any other setting specific to the new camera. Went quite a bit faster.
