Missing MAC addresses

I've been doing a lot of work on my BI network, deleting and reinstalling cams and updating BI.

I'm noticing that I'm getting cameras in the BI Status screen that no long show the MAC address for some of the cameras. They used to all be displayed.

What am I missing? I like being able to look up the MAC address for all of the connected cameras from this screen.

Probably something simple that I've missed.

Just checked my system and none of the MAC addresses for any of my cams are listed.

I'm sure they used to be there before so might be worth raising a support ticket to see what they say?

yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing It seems like a recent update might’ve messed with it

I am running 5.9.9.25 and all of the MAC's show for my 7 cameras!

I checked another system that is running 5.9.9.24 and one camera is missing the MAC address, updated it to 5.9.9.26 and still missing the MAC on the same camera!

I then checked my third BI system (5.9.9.25) and it is missing the MAC on 3 cameras of the 17 on the system!

All 3 of the BI installations appear to work just fine, so I am not able to draw any conclusion to why some cameras are missing the MAC, I might look a bit further when time permits!

Wonder if this is related to that option that would use the MAC address to reset the cams IP address, this caused problems for people who had wireless cams that were being accessed via a WiFi bridge as BI would set the IP to that of the bridge?

It seems that the cameras on my system that are not showing their MAC address were the cameras that I used the search function under video/configure/find inspect.

I don't recall if the correct camera was located. I was attempting to see if the program would recommend a different camera than a generic Foscam camera.

It's one for Support if you have the time. I note this BI5 download page shows recent features include "MAC address scan in camera discovery window" and "MAC address displayed in status/cameras".
