"People seem to come ask a question and then disappear!"

Drive-by postings seem to be a problem in a few forums that I am in.

I read "the great purge of "23". What was that about? I had to re-create my account a few weeks ago even though I've been here for about four years.

That is the grand name I gave to an incident where the entire forum was lost. Then they found the back ups were corrupted. The working back up was more than a year old, so thousands of posts had been lost, and many user accounts too. What a mess.

Had the same issue with a Blink mini inside a garage. Known problem when that cam goes into (and stays in) IR mode for too long. A sudden opening of the garage door with bright light and movement outside is not detected/recorded (initially, at least).
Solution was to hide/show the cam daily in the morning via software in Alexa, or power-cycle the cam. Image
