I've been doing some research on various cameras to use with BI5. I have a few 2mp cameras that I am currently temporarily using to get used to v5 BI. I prefer to buy via Amazon since I know that if I ever have a problem I can probably depend on them to make it right (as a prime member, they have always supported me regarding problems).
My choice at this time is Amcrest. My reasoning is pretty simple in that they are the only manufacturer I've found that provides complete full specs for everything they sell. They appear to be a blend of American and Chinese engineering and manufacturing.
If had to choose 1 camera today, it would probably be their 4k dome camera

both, perhaps all their cameras are onviz compliant, play nice with BI and are priced attractively.
Any comments regarding Amcrest as a company or any of their products? I just ordered the 4k turret camera and will also purchase a 5mp to try out and will post my opinions after trying for a few days.
