Blue Iris

Good day,

I have been using Blue Iris v4 (am ready to upgrade to Blue Iris v5!) for a couple of years and recently began facing two issues. The first issue was

1) Blue Iris began to shut down automatically a couple of minutes after launching, I rechecked my storage drives etc. and emptied them hoping it would work fine.

2) Now Blue Iris (v4) does not even open, I launch it and it automatically crashes

I am not sure if I can somehow create a backup of my settings and upgrade to Blue Iris 5 or if there is some way I can fix Blue Iris 4 and then upgrade?

I think I fixed this error by deleting the files in the database, not sure why that would fix the error though? Thank you
