Hello, I'm trying to test BI demo with my 20 cams (in future will be more). Is it true that direct to disk write doesn't work in demo?
My cams configured with built in motion detection and BI can use it. What I need from BI is direct to disk writing of main stream with buffering 3-5 sec before motion event start. No decoding/encoding, overlaying, motion detection by BI. Just buffering and writing to disk when IP cam detects motion and tells it to BI.
And it still eats 40-50% CPU with 8 core E5 2650 V2. It's little bit too much for only 20 cams 1080p 10 fps... Xiongmaitech own cms eats only 6% CPU with substreams and 30 cams and 18% CPU main stream at same config (But there no buffering for prerecord).
Is there any way to configure BI as I want and get ~same CPU like at XM own CMS? There so many functions in BI but there no so simple and effective (or... it's not work in demo v5?)
For web stream I want to use light substream... for low CPU usage in work to decode it.
