Webclient UI settings saved on server instead on local client

Hi,
A user can set the web UI settings on a local machine,..these settings are saved in the local cache/cookies.
If you log on from different machines you have to set these settings again for each machine...and if the cache is cleared, you lose the settings en need to start over again.

Is there a way to save these settings on the server? This way no matter from which machine you log on, you will always have the UI settings that belong to your account.

Thanks

Sure, there is a way. It would just take development work. The best thing to do would be to contact support with a feature request.

Then it would be up to the developer (I think it is just one primary developer and a guy who helped with the web stuff with contributions) to prioritize his work.

It is the sort of thing that you expect to happen when you log in as a different user. Maybe UI3 needs tighter integration

Just a little history....

UI3 was originally developed by a community member as an independent effort as a cool replacement for the original BI web page.

The author developed it using the BI web APIs and had no access to BI core code.

At some point in BI4 the owner of the company realized that UII3 was much better than the default web and came to some agreement with the community author of UI3 to include it as the default web experience.
