Text Overlay - Can it be read from the end of the file?

I'm attempting to get the contents of a text file to be displayed over the top of one of our camera streams, but the lines in the text file that I need to display are generated from top to bottom (meaning the newest line is always the last line of the file) by an external program. Blue Iris seems to have a limit to how many lines or characters it can display, so the contents of the text file stop being displayed on video once the file exceeds about 16 lines. Is there a way to make Blue Iris read text files starting on the last line of the file and move backwards? Can I make the overlay auto-scroll when it reaches the limit for how many lines/characters it can display? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!
