Camera Wouldn't Reconnect Automatically

I have several WiFi RTSP cameras (EZVIZ CTQ2C) that work great. A couple days ago one of the cameras went offline (in Blue Iris) and I started to receive "Signal: timeout; check IP address and port" and "Signal: network retry" errors in my log. After a while, the logged errors were only "Signal: network retry". I think the initial problem started when my wifi went down for a bit.

I rebooted the camera and it still did not reconnect to Blue Iris. I then checked the camera via the EZVIZ Android app, and it was online and transmitting, even though BI wasn't connecting. In BI, I would just see a gray screen. Finally, I went into the settings for that camera and although I didn't change anything I clicked OK (instead of Cancel) and the camera immediately reconnected.

So my question is, is there anything I can do in Blue Iris to make sure that the camera will reconnect after it has disconnected (probably from a network / wifi issue)? Why didn't it reconnect automatically, even though all the settings were correct?

Thank you!

In the cmeras properties, go to the 'Watchdog' tab. Enable it and set the appropriate options.

I occasionally see one of my Wyze V2 cameras drop off for no apparent reason. Nothing has changed, it just drops the signal. The camera is fully accessible in the Wyze app and in tinyCam, but BI refuses to see it.

After a while (a few hours or a day or so) it magically comes back. I'd love to figure out why it's doing this and how to prevent or correct it. Or, how to make BI "see" it again.
