Open Status (Camera Status Window) turns red

I don't know when it began, but the "Open Status" icon on Blue Iris 5.6.8.4 is turning red, as opposed to its normal setting of gray. I assumed that the "red" value meant that there was a serious issue that I could look at by opening the camera status window. But that is not the case. I see nothing serious. As soon as I select the icon, the red color is replaced by gray. When I close the camera status window, the camera status icon remains gray until .... (I don't know what is changing it to red). I looked at the most recent user manual and could not find anything. If anyone knows why the icon is changing to red, I would appreciate hearing from them. Thank you.

Look at the Log tab instead. It will have a red circle with an X in it next to the item that caused the Open Status to become red. Usually it is something like "unexpected shutdown" or "database corruption".

Thanks for responding. That's a good suggestion and I originally thought that this was the reason. However, I have not been able to find one such error. In the past, it was not unusual for me to experience these kinds of errors, with the associated "red" status. But my system is running pretty clean now (I think) and so I don't see anything in the log messages that is associated with a severe situation.
