What is the difference between the Blue Iris CPU Utilization meter and windows ?

Why is there such a difference between the two?

Blue Iris can skew these readings for any number of reasons. There's even a function to more closely match what Task Manager is actually reporting..., just to make us feel better, I guess.

Another possible reason for the differences could be due to BI running as a service and the BI GUI, Windows will see these as different processes.

Thanks for this thread. I was wondering the same thing, while troubleshooting an issue. Good thoughts here.
