Manual record on press button without time limit?

Post by Jey »

Hi!

I would like to record a stream when I want and with the duration I want, pressing the RECORD button (from the android app).

When I do it, the clip is only 30s, probably from this setting : ""End trigger unless re-triggered within""

Is there any way to record from when I push the button to start, and when I push it to stop the record ?

Thanks :)

Another method would be to setup the camera for continuous recording, then...
- Pause Indefinitely. This will stop recording and motion/AI, but leave the camera open to view.
- Disable the camera. This stops everything. Enable when you want to record & view.

Then, leave the camera enabled and unpaused.

If the camera is set to record 'continuously', then you can find the motion via the Alerts list, or, go into the bvr and find what your looking for. Export the video if you want to save it outside of BI.

If the camera is set to record 'When triggered', then your only option is to find it in the Alerts list. Setting a camera to record Continuously will allow you to still find events that did not trigger and make an Alert.
