Post by ds22051999 »

Hi.
I have many problems with my wifi cam.
I can't connect my wifi cam with Blue Iris.
I want to know, if possible, a possible solution for this problem.

My Cam seems connect to my Router, but video feed is not possible to see.
That on my pc only.
Instead on my phone it all works good.
An exception: when the cam detect a movement video feed freeze. Why?

Sorry for my bad english.
I hope you understant.

1) What make and model of camera are you using?

2) What version of BI are you using?

3) What kind of hardware are you using (your PC specifications)?
Blue Iris 5.x x64 | Windows 10 Pro x64 | 16GB RAM | i7-7700 3.6 GHz | 1TB HDD | 2TB RAID NAS | 9 Cameras | Almost Dual NIC | 2KVA UPS

Also does doing a find/inspect using the cams IP address actually find the cam?

I have an MXD bought in a supermarket, the exact model I don't know
3) I use the Blue Iris 5.4.1.3 Software
4) I use Ajcloud software on my phone

Yes, the camera finds it perfectly

Now blue iris tells me the socket error problem

First prove that you can connect to the camera without Blue Iris - enter the wireless IP address of the camera into a browser and log in/connect. If you cannot connect to the camera using a browser, it's not an issue with BI - you either used the wrong IP, or figure out why you can't connect.

If you can connect via browser, then you make sure BI is configured correctly on the video tab. Tons of information about setting BI up correctly available here: Blue Iris Index Page
