Trigger Camera Motion on Lorex NVR

Post by rmurfster »

Does anyone know of a way to tell your NVR (I have a Lorex) to turn on/trigger Motion Detect for a given camera?

I want my NVR to go through it's Motion Detection routine when Blue Iris confirms an Alert (using DeepStack).

Thanks!

Doesn't sound easy. I don't suppose the Lorex NVR speaks MQTT ?

If not then does the Lorex NVR have wired trigger inputs ? If it does then there are home automation methods of getting BI5 to trigger things. I use BI5 motion detection to tell Homeseer to turn lights on for a defined period.
