Two cameras that are the same - ONVIF settings.

Post by michin »

I have two Genbolt GB202H cameras. One of the cameras can rotate left to right, up and down and zoom in and out through Blue Iris but the second camera cannot.

I noticed both cameras were sharing the same ONVIF port, and when using the ONVIF feature on the second camera it would rotate the first camera, so I changed the ONVIF port on the second camera. The second camera no longer effects the first camera but the rotate and zoom functions through Blue Iris still don't work for the second camera. All ONVIF functions on the first camera work. If I access the second Genbolt GB202H camera through its mobile app all ONVIF functions work great.

Both cameras still share the same RTSP port. Can that cause problems? The ONVIF sources are the same on both cameras. Can that cause a problem?

Settings on Genbolt #1 GB202H (ONVIF functions work - rotate left to right, rotate up and down and zoom in and zoom out)
http port 80
ONVIF port 8080
RTSP port 554
RTMP port 1935

In Blue Iris:
Genbolt
GB20xRTSP
RTSP Port: 554
ONVIF port: 8999
ONVIF source: VideoSource_1

Settings on Genbolt #2 GB202H (ONVIF functions do NOT work)
http port 1080
ONVIF port 8081
RTSP port 554
RTMP port 1935

In Blue Iris:
Genbolt
GB20xRTSP
RTSP Port: 554
Discovery/ONVIF Port: 8081
ONVIF source: VideoSource_2

Thank you for any help.

Solved it for anyone that has similar issues with two cameras of the same make and model.

Under camera settings, under the tab PTZ/Control I turned on 'use another ip/port' and typed in 1080. I had changed my HTTP port from the standard 80 and need to tell Blue Iris that.
