Disk storage management not working (for me!)

Hi there, I'm having trouble with my storage management.
https://ibb.co/4fTyjX5
As you can see, I have set a limit of 70GB or 7 days on my SSD for new clips. Then they are supposed to be moved onto my VAS drive:

Problem is, nothing seems to be moving anywhere, and every few days my SSD gets full and I have to manually move a bunch of stuff.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Is there anything in your Blue Iris Status Log noting it attempting to move or delete or .......? Also I would assume this is already working but your system can navigate to the QNAP2 directory, right?

What does your Blue Iris Status Clip Storage look like? Also just curious, what if you uncheck "Do NOT monitor free space"? I know you're using a NAS (though "New" isn't a NAS), it does say 'some NAS'... not necessarily all. Kinda grasping but I know the directory moving should work - even though I'm not presently using it.

yes there are notes in the log indicating it has been trying to move stuff:

here is one from this morning:

and from a few days ago

Looks like it can see there is work to do, but doesn't do it, nor does show any errors. yes, I can open the NAS from explorer, no problem, and yes, I have checked the "not monitor free space" but that didn't change anything.

I have just manually moved a bunch of files so we'll see what happens when it hits the 50GB limit again in a day or so.

Any other ideas?

Can you post captures of the BI 'Clips and archiving', for the New folder and the destination folder?

Sure!
Here's the New

And the Stored

Last time I posted I cleared out the New down to around 30G, rebuilt the DB. But it's already up to 60GB so the move function isn't working for me.

When I looked this morning BI wasn't showing any of the clips in the Stored folder, which is weird, cus there are lots. So I've rebuilt the DB again this morning, but it's still lot seeing the clips in stored
Image

if i click on the browse button next to the file name it brings up the correct folder on the NAS, so it has no problems seeing the NAS

Is there any way to completely reset the clips and archiving section? maybe somethign has got screwed up when I moved from BI4 to 5?

PS as I am looking at the status window I see it's trying to move a bunch of files from the 16/4 and there's an error

Any way to find out what the issue is?

And looking at the storage status window it doesn't seem to be able to see how but the storage folder is:

Dagnabit! Just found the problem. I was using BI as a service using a separate admin account on my PC. When I logged onto the admin account, i realised my NAS credentials had expired for some reason. No idea why. Logged back into my NAS, and while i watched files started pouring in, like magic.

Sorry to have bothered everyone, but this only occurred to me after reading some posts from others re error messages, and it occurred to me this might be the problem.

No bother at all... happier that you responded with the resolution to help others in the future.

Glad you got it!
