I decided to completely delete my installation after backing it all up first. Now, I'm on version 5.3.8.4 and the clips are all in the database as far as I can see. However, the app (I use Android) seems to be acting strangely. The normal view of the Camera screen shows the live view on the left, and the most recent clip thumbnail on the right with a count notification number in the corner. However, those thumbnails are OLD, and not the most recent. But if you go into the Alerts menu, the clips are all there... So if you want to view the clips from a particular camera, you're out of luck, but if you want to view the entire list of clips and scroll through them, it appears to be fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the BI installation, as well as the app, but nothing seems to fix it.

Feel like I let the team down... I did try, though I suppose we have gotten SOME feedback as well.

Just updated to 5.3.8.4 x64 (14/01/2021) by hand - d/l the exe, run it, it stops the NT Service, installs and restarts the Service.

Everything seems to work OK with no settings lost. Note this is the 39Mb 'update' and *not* the complete 'clean install file'.

After restarting BI several times, the missing camera reappeared on its own. The only thing I did was to look through the dialog boxes for that camera to try and figure out what changed (nothing had). Weird, but since it is a wifi cam (ugh) maybe stuff was just taking a longer than normal to connect.

@Matts1984 thanks for posting the update information you obtained from Ken, I also got the same information from support and it resolved the update problem.
I wonder why that was not detailed in the update, a simple link? Instead it stated to do an unknown manual update procedure? Which would have negated our wasted time and that of the support team responding to likely many support requests.
I do not know if the person(s) moderating this forum could have provided the update link or during the webinar? In any event, this has been handled very poorly.
