Pulling my hair out - "Setup failed: -22 for recording"

I keep getting this message in the logs and I'm not sure why. I've switched from SW to Nvidia decoding and back and forth. Changed cameras from H265+ to H265 then to H264, changed some cameras to SW decoding and some to hardware and also tried all software.. I still keep getting the message in the logs.

I've also noticed that sometimes I have recordings that start a few seconds after they should have been triggered. Is this related?

What does it mean?!
