IR lights trigger a false event
I'm having an issue with every time dusk or dawn comes around, I get a false trigger. Sometimes I have a totally black screen in the AM, in the PM I sometimes get a video that looks like the IR turning ON. What If I turned the IR on all of the time, do you think this would solve it and would it hurt anything?

Leaving IR on all the time wouldn't hurt since the camera would adjust itself for the lighting. You may want to set the IR to Auto so it turns itself on/off when needed.
You can also set the camera(s) Event Schedule to set the Brightness & Contrast 'Relative to Sunrise/Sunset', for daytime & nighttime settings. This is what I do on most of my cameras.
