Can/Should BI send HTTP post when Profile setting is changed

I'd like to be able to get updates for my home automation when the profile setting is changed. If possible a HTTP post that would allow the profile status to be visible in (in my case OpenHAB). OH supports a full REST API so a url to post to when the profile is changed is all that would be required. This would be very similar to the camera function.

Is there any other way to do this beside constantly polling BI? Are there others interested in the same?

In BI settings 'Profiles' tab, click on the 'On Change' button. Add the notification(s) you want.
