A while back when i was checking on 360 cameras, I did find that some that had options to provide different configurations. each with it's own IP and port #. For example, 9 de-warped images, 2 panoramic images. Even 1 large image that could be digitally moved via PTZ controls. Awesome. Don't remember which cameras. I do know that they were pricey.

I had this same problem.
I fixed mine by going to camera settings/video. There is a box on bottom right saying "360"
Make sure this is set to "NO".
Mine was set to "Ceiling" and after changing this setting, it returned to normal.

During clip playback, right click on the player and for 360 degree re-wrap select NO.

That's a legacy feature to correct for fish-eye anomalies and the like.
