Ios13 background audio

Using BI since v3, now on v4. Background audio was a feature we relied on for baby monitoring etc. and worked great but since io13 (I think this is the source of the problem) background audio stops after a few minutes. Is there a fix? Audio works as long as device isn’t locked and we stay within the blue iris app.

We have turned on Background app refresh but that doesn’t fix the issue

I think the ipad locking may be the issue- most tablets will suspend video and audio if you close the cover, lock the screen, or move to a different app*.

But, if this started coincident with the IOS upgrade, then that may be the cause.



(It's 2019...we can send a man to the moon, but I can't listen to a video with the cover closed? C'mon Youtube, give us a break.)
