Nvidia drivers

Post by jerry2306 »

First time poster, long time lurker.
I am running an older NVIDIA GTX1060 3gb and am aware of two versions of drivers. Game ready and Studio. Does anyone have any knowledge or opinion of any benefit of one vs the other while using cpia.
I have tried both and see no difference. Interested in your opinions.

Use the Game Ready driver. Also use CUDA 11.8 not CUDA 12.x for this GPU. FYI when installing CUDA it comes with the Game Ready driver.

Hi MikeLud,

Is there anything showing which graphics cards require which version of CUDA ? And which CPAI object detection model to use for a particular graphics card ? Or is it trial and error :?

CUDA 11.8 should work with all modules
