Post by jeremypsl »

Hello,

I was wondering what is your settings in the new "Static Object Analysis" ?
And how is this working exactly ?
Does it help to avoid false detections of statics objects seen as a person ?

Thanks.

Edit : and btw, why my account been deleted ?!

The idea of it is good. My car is static on my drive. A person walks past the end of my drive. Does CPAI detect a person or a car ? It should be a person because BI5 knows my car is static. Unfortunately it is usually a car, so if anybody DOES know how to set this up, let us know

Looking at the BlueIris manual, Static Object Analysis is:
Static object analysis
The software may also be configured to attempt to cancel alerts if detected objects are
determined to be in an occupied state. That is, they have not moved for a predetermined
amount of time.
Looks like there are more details on page 100 of the manual, if you want to know more.

I've found the manual to be lacking in some areas, but in this case it does a good job of explaining it, thank you.
