Hi Anyone has used Vinchin backup and recovery?

Post by JonChris »

Hello, guys.

I am using some VMs running on RHV and I want to use some backup solutions to protect my data security.
Now, I am evaluating Vinchin backup. Is there anyone using it?
I hope I can get some suggestions from you.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Here is the link and I am not familiar with Vinchin before.

I use Macrium and am pretty happy with it.

Here's the free version link: https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree

It’s a very specific/bespoke backup solution for RHV so I don’t think the free Macrium Reflect can be compared?

Interested to know how much it costs, had a look on their website and although there is a wealth of info you have to request a quote?

I use the paid version and you can launch full backups as virtual machines within windows to see if it will work when you restore it. I’m in the data recovery business and Macrium is the best I’ve ever seen for consumers.
