Push notifications and version 5

Hi,
I am new to this forum and hope my posting is okay here.
My version 4 support just expired on 5/20/2019. I was thinking about upgrading to 5.0 but in last few days push notifications to both iphone and ipad stopped working.

Is this because my 4.8.6.3 version support has expired?

The test sen to iphone and ipad both work fine. I get the notification.
Both iphone and ipad are selected in mobile devices tab.
Send push to mobile app is checked in alerts tab.
In the configure menu, the test runs succesfully.

Tried rebooting.

Sorry if this in wrong forum. I want to upgrade to version 5 but not until I solve this dilemma.

No, push notification would not stop working because your support plan ended - unless that was a new implimentation. If the test function works, then, the alert should also work.

Are you using profiles?


I would suggest contacting support. Even if your support plan ended. Ken is very good at answering support questions.

Thanks Mike,
I actually found the issue.
The darn app on ipad and iphone had send notification turned off in options.

Don't now how that happened as I never go into options except for original setup.
But that's apps for you. lol
