Removing Camera's From An FTP Server

Post by kviiwx7 »

I am trying to take a handful of cameras that are inactive off of a website. I have tried toggling the on off button in the camera settings but the image still posts to our FTP server. How to I get the camera off of the website without removing it from Blue Iris. I did not set up this network, a former employer did many years ago.

Thank you!

Hi, are you saying you can view them on the website ? And does the website video stop if you disable the camera in BI ?
If not, there may be something else going on here.
Or is this a file backup to a remote server that won't stop ?

You don't state which version of BI you are using, but state it was set up a long time ago. That probably means any info I give you from the latest version may make little sense :(

Try the main settings and look for a "FTP Servers" tab. Does that show anything ? If you are wanting to stop all FTP activity you could delete everything here. If you are only removing certain cameras then be careful.
