Green Screen & Washed Out Screen

Post by Rodger3876 »

Looking for some help and or advice with 2 problems?
1st problem, I am on the current BI 5 Windows 10. On some Video clip during the recorded playback I will get a green screen? I am recording Direct to Disk.
2nd problem. On a couple of different cameras, as they are streamed to BI 5, Blue iris will show them washed out? I have checked the feed in a web browser at the time BI displays it washed out and the browser shows normal video. I have messed with the camera & BI setting but have not been able to clean it up? This problem only last for about 10 to 30 sec and clears up and will be fine for 10 min or longer before it does it again? Both of these problems show up on the BI consul and the UI3?

Hi, I think we need to know what type of cameras they are, and to see the settings to see if something is amiss. I must say that I have not had these issues :(

They are a cheap camera KingKongSmart 2MP Outdoor. I am doing Direct to Disk with BI doing 10fps along with the camera set to 10fps. I have tried different Camera configs in BI with the same result?

Where it states "Compression: H.265x", are there any other H265 variations ? BI5 may only work with the lower more compatible settings, so if plain old H265 is available, try that.
