Demo not recording events
I have installed the trial version of blue iris. However although I have my Wyze camera in the blue iris Control panel it is not recording anything when motion is detected. I notice the record buttons are greyed out in the camera settings so cannot be modified. Is this just a limitation on the trial version?

I had a similar issue a long time ago with my old analogue cameras. I could see them in the GUI but they wouldn't record. I think that was because they were not outputting a signal that BI could record.

What video format is your Wyze cam set to output ? I do have a Neos cam (Very similar to Wyze) working here as H264, so I know it can be done. In the case of my analogue cameras, I used BI to re-encode them as BVR.It sounds like you may be recording to a format other than the default BVR/H.264, and that's not recommended unless required.
