I run a couple BI servers, updated to latest, and have around 17 cameras of different shapes, sizes and capabilities.
I've had a strange issue with one (1) Foscam R4, since well before BI5 upgrades. The camera has been removed/re-added several times; in fact, I have even upgraded the server hardware. The live streaming/view seems to work properly. Alerts and clips even seem to start properly. However, when I try to play the Alerts - though the thumbnail looks okay - strange actions happen. It may play a few frames over a few seconds; it may just freeze showing the thumb from a different clip; it may do nothing.
I sort of thought, since it was wifi and in the garage, it was just a wifi issue. I avoid wifi as much as possible, but this was a challenging situation. I finally got Ethernet run to the camera today and, surprise, the problem still exists.
Any ideas?
