Blue Iris feeds on Apple TV

Post by terk »

I've found the IP Cam Soft Pro app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ip-cam-so ... d518516052 on an iOS device and an Apple TV a good combination for getting live feeds on your Apple TV. I found setting up the cameras in the iOS app much easier and the app has a great feature to send all your cameras to the corresponding Apple TV app. Using the generic URL option to configure the camera with a Full URL of http://{Blue Iris Server IP}:81/h264/{Camera Short Name}/temp.ts Seems to work best as it gave me sound and true video as opposed to some of the other options i tried like mjpeg where it just updated a pic every so many seconds. No controlling model info is needed as this app doesn't seem to have anything specifically for Blue Iris. It looks pretty much the same on both an iOS and Apple TV.
