Tried UV epoxy resin?

Post by Thixotropic » Wed Nov 11, 2020 9:43 pm

Have any of you tried UV epoxy resin? I've been fooling around with it and it's amazing stuff. No mixing, you apply the stuff just like any epoxy and then shine a 365nm UV light on it for a couple of seconds to cure it.

Just light it up for 2 or 3 seconds and it sets up solid, 5 more seconds and it's fully cured, hard as a rock. The resin was ~$10 (eBay) and the "LumenShooter" UV light was $20 (Amazon). I'm already using this stuff on various little projects here and there. It hardens like flipping a switch, a lot of fun to use.
