camera names

Post by LOOPYLOOP » Wed May 27, 2020 2:44 pm

i have an Edimax camera, old but good.
I have it on ip 192.168.0.209
Only now years later does it hit me that i have the name set as ED 209 (not many people might remember or realise)
Curious to see if anyone has interestingly named cameras.

I haven't named my cameras yet (other than woods_1, deck, garage etc) but I have named my computers: Monster (a 2950X Threadripper), Junior and Farfel (one of our dogs). I've also named my 2 NAS' - Mulva and Mulva_12. Now we'll see who knows where that comes from (you get 1 Junior Mint).

I don't have any interesting camera names, but I have run across a funny SSID. When my son first got his apartment and he logged onto his WIFI, his neighbor's SSID was myfirstasian ...lol, Step Brothers movie style.
