So I was not able re enable notification on the phone. But it seems I needed to add push notification into the list like I did for SMS. Once I did that its working. So thanks for the steps.

Check the camera settings as well. It is possible someone did not know what they were doing, and had the cameras record directly to the NAS. Maybe!

I was able to successfully set up Gmail on my BI5 install as it was a work around for notification issue on my ios app.

Haven't had notifications work since I upgraded to BI5. Is there something I'M missing?
