Re: Motion based search capability?
ic. I've requested this in the past to have this 'Smart search' feature... To be able to run a recording as input like a camera feed. And have an option to run as fast as possible, or, run in real time like a live feed & have normal speed controls. I've used this in other camera software. Maybe ...

Re: 2 Networks cards in one Desktop
I switch to AnyDesk, since TeamViewer locked me out of using their software saying I'm using it commercial. I call B.S. on that. It's for my home computers, My phone, and occasionally a friend that needs help. Anywho.... AnyDesk if great. It takes less cpu than TeamViewer, is quicker and more respon...

Re: Test Run Video Through Motion Detector not triggering
You'll need to start playing the video about 10 seconds before the event to trigger. If your recording Continuous, then all you need to do is play the clip, stop, go back 10 seconds, then play. Or increasing the 'Pre trigger video buffer' to 12-15 seconds will make it as easy as just playing the cli...

... For example, is there a time period in which these events must occur? Is there a "cool down" time that applies, after which the initial trigger is reset, or...?? Yes, Make Time & Break Time. For example, in the " A-B " scenario, could an object exist in zone A for an hou...

Re: Object Crossing Zones A-B vs AB
Hi, Can anyone explain the difference between zone crossing triggers; AB and A-B ? ... Essentially, your correct. AB would be about the same as A-B or A>B, A<B However, lets say you have a third zone... C. They are lined up, A B C left to right. AB-C would mean that motion would need to be detected...

Re: Motion based search capability?
If your want to search through existing BI recordings, yes. It's called 'Test run video thru motion detector'. Not easy to use, but it does work. Just remember to save your camera settings first, so you can restore if you don;t like the new settings.

Also, you can export the Registration info, then, delete the entire branch, re install BI. Before starting it the first time, Double click the .reg file you saved to enter the registration info it back into the registry. This way, you don't have to enter it manually. I've used this a few times. HKEY...

... I've switched to AnyDesk. But, it requires the remote computer to acknowledge and approve the connection. Whereas with TeamViewer, you can set it up for unattended access. CORRECTION... Disable Webcasting by Group?
According to the BI Help, in the Webcasting section, it states... Consider disabling webcasting of the “all cameras” group altogether. But, does not say how to do this. I cannot find any 'group' webcast setting. Other than disabling 'Webcast' per camera (which would also disable Webcasting in all gr...
