Re: Outdoor mini camera compatible with Blue Iris

How small is 'mini'? Wi-Fi? PoE? AC power handy? TP-link offers a few options that are ONVIF compliant, will fire right up with Blue Iris and don't require cloud support from 'home'. These are pretty cool if you have power handy. The C110 is amazing for the money if they would be in a protected area...

Re: Minimize PC CPU usage

It seems that no matter what settings I use, if it's direct-to-disk recording, this is the result from a web browser. On what and where is the web browser relative to the Blue Iris server? While the pic is hard to analyze, it looks like lack of bandwidth and/or limited processor horsepower on the v...

Re: Reset PTZ brightness setting back to default/unspecified

I just tried editing the reg. entries directly by changing each hex/dex value to zero and it cleared the existing values. Blue Iris can't be running and RegEdit needs to be run as Administrator.

Still should be an easier way to do it.

Re: Check FPS and Key Rates Warning!

Ok, Henry... I gotta hand it to ya for persistence! In my 'abstraction', (and in the literal sense), the 'unit' is the interval between each individual 'marker' (key frame), hence 'key-frame interval' just like it sounds. Call the key frame a 'segment' of the 'unit' if you will. It counts noth...

Re: Alerts Stopped - RESOLVED

As I've mentioned in a couple 'Windows Update" discussions, you aren't going to beat them, so join them. Just invite them over on YOUR schedule and supervise the behavior -- after stopping Blue Iris for the process, of course. I've done this routine since installing Blue Iris over two years ago...

Re: Version 5.8.9.0, New options...

I'm currently running a 5.8.9.3 / i5-9500 Eval/test box to compare any perceivable 4K/H.265 implementation 'improvements' compared to my tried and true beloved 5.7.4.2 / i7 4790 of exactly one year ago today and still performing flawlessly otherwise. There aren't any. Chasing AI clearly seems more i...

Re: Check FPS and Key Rates Warning!

The i-frame interval should be equal to the frame rate (for best responsiveness and stability). So it sounds like the units for i-frame are "frames/interval" and iframe being equal to the frame rate means that you get one i-frame per second (x frames/sec ) / (x frames/interval) = 1 interv...

Re: Can’t post so quick

Tell me more. I have no timed delay. I use a Windows pc with Chrome browser. When IAmATeaf first had this issue, Gennarose took off every posting restriction she could find but it didn't help IAmATeaf. Then we found IAmATeaf was using Tapatalk. I did a test last time making multiple test posts then...
