Re: AI based Alerts - &JSON is empty

Ah. You could massage the log in Excel and get the numbers. The truly determined could tweak a Power Query to automate the massaging. Well you got me curious, so I massaged my logs. I filtered the Message for "DeepStack:*ms" and that should only get results. Copied that to a new table then...

Just curious, what are you trying to do with the log? I send the &MEMO to Home Assistant which logs it and bounces it back to a BI macro so it can be shown on an overlay.

Re: Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

Also, search the log for DeepStack. You may need to check "Save to file" and let it run a while first.

Re: Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

Probably nothing, but can you try using the IP address of the computer running BI instead of the localhost/127.0.0.1? Did you also let DeepStack install in the default location? C:\DeepStack Another option for troubleshooting is to install DeepStack on another computer and point it to it. You won't ...

Re: Substream unless triggered - almost perfect...

I agree with every comment. My alerts list is now an easily reviewable list. Before with my BI-AITools-DeepStack-HomeAssistant dance, I never got around to fine tuning things like cancelling false triggers so the alerts list was a mess. Dang bugs - and I mean the ones buzzing around the camera at ni...

Re: Live view only updating when selected.

Yeah! I almost gave up mentioning it because no one else seemed to have that problem despite similar experiences.

I bet your cpu usage jumped quite a bit.

Re: Live view only updating when selected.

You can try posting a picture of your settings page so we can take a look. My favorite thing to point out (because it frustrated me for a week wondering why display and triggering were so poor) is you probably want “limit decoding unless required” unchecked. It sounds good but it means BI only displ...

Re: Always Record and Record on Trigger

Thank you. So this is not something done in Blue Iris with schedules and profiles on one camera, it is done by creating two cameras in BI to the same IP camera and setting each to a different profile. Is that correct? BI is so tweakable I wouldn’t rule out your original thought. I also haven’t play...

Re: Always Record and Record on Trigger

The typical reason to set up your cameras like this is to always record low resolution and trigger record on HD. You end up configuring two “cameras” in BI for one physical camera.
