Re: Decent cameras

Can the Blue Iris team confirm if this information is valid:

https://www.blueirisdownload.com/cameras.html

Doesn't appear to be the official website.

Re: Android TV client (Leanback)

I have now purchased an Nvidia Shield, and it can do almost everything that I need. The Nexus Players were just too old so it's time for that great Ebay experience for them (4 off). UI3 works nicely in a sideloaded Chrome browser, but I will need to get another blutooth keyboard to work with the shi...

Re: BI VERSION 5 ALERT SOUNDS

Hi Viruta57, You won't receive a support email answer from me, because I am a USER of BI5 just as you are. I don't work for BI. :o One odd thing that happened to me during the BI4 to BI5 change, was that my server pc decided to change the pc audio from the motherboard to my Homeseer HSPhone. That cr...

Re: UI3 Strange Behavior

Hi straes,
UI3 has been acting strangely. It will randomly yet consistently swap from All Cameras view to a particular camera.
1. Does it do it with UI3 on a different browser or pc ?
2. Does it do the same with the main BI5 gui ?

Cheers,

Tim

Re: Internal PTZ

Hi AndyH, I'm in Mansfield myself, it's just that I know a AndyH at work in Derby :D I can find positive posts online about getting Wansview cameras working in BI, but I don't know these cameras at all. Do be aware that you can't stick it next to a window and hope to see outside at night. The IR wil...

Re: Is Priority Support Working?

Hi jeangv, The email addresses look OK, so hopefully they will answer today. If you followed the instructions from MikeBwca, it adds in your BI licensing info which must make it easier for BI to identify priority customers. This forum is the recently created official BI forum, and sometimes we even ...

Re: Android TV client (Leanback)

Hmm, this isn't helping me convince Ken :o

How about, how many of you use a Nvidia Shield for media playback, and wish that BI had a proper client for it ? Or is everybody using UI3 now ?

Does UI3 work on a Nvidia Shield ? I could go that route, but I need to know if it works !

Re: Internal PTZ

Hi AndyH,

Not in the Derby area are you ?

The camera you listed shows as "Onvif" so it should work with BI with a bit of fineagling. Did you try it with a network cable and find the IP address ?

OK fella, I was a bit sensitive yesterday as we had to put our dog to sleep, and I'm in the middle of having a cold mixed with asthma and other respiratory troubles. Not a happy bunny :(

Re: My server PC

Hi nbobz, that's a serious pc !

Another multi purpose pc that runs well. What has the ipcamstalks [sic] child got against them ?

Do you remember why you use Splashtop instead of Teamviewer ? I use Splashtop too, but couldn't remember which feature dragged me in initially !
