Re: Blue Iris - AI LPR - Save jpg to alternate folder
I checked the Homeseer forum discussion, and of course the variable to send the image is actually "&ALERT_JPEG" which didn't like being mixed with other payloads.

Re: Blue Iris email support
OP: I hope you didn't send a follow up email message. That puts you back at the bottom of the queue
As stated before, did you use the copy/paste pro forma from BI5 ?

Re: Blue Iris - AI LPR - Save jpg to alternate folder
I have some experience with this one, and I think MQTT could do all of this: BI by default stores the LPR confirmed image in the Alerts folder, however i would like it to be stored in a separate folder. Is there a simple solution or setting that I'm missing? I'm running BI version 5 alternatively, a...

Re: Can't export recording - Error: setup 80004005
Googling "Error: setup 80004005" shows it could be a file access error or even an anti virus blocking error. Have you tried saving the export to a different drive ?

Re: PTZ stopped working in BI5 for one camera?
Are your other cameras using CamHi too ? I don't know these cameras, but if it is ONVIF controlled, then I would start by looking at the BI5 settings for this camera. If you press "Find/Inspect" does it show "Has PTZ service: /onvif/ptz_service" or something different ? If nothin...

Re: What changed ?/Network cam advice
Hi, to work with Blue Iris it needs to be an IP camera with an RTSP feed or ONVIF. If the spec for the camera doesn't mention these, or states it won't work with a different manufacturers NVR (Or BI5) then it is likely to be a closed system that will only work with their app. BI5 will work with some...

Re: PTZ Camera setup
Further thoughts: If you have the correct Discovery/ONVIF port in BI5 settings and do a Find/Inspect, does it show "Has PTZ service: /onvif/ptz_service" in the results ?

Re: PTZ Camera setup
It does appear to have Onvif profile "S&T" according to the spec, and I believe "S" handles PTZ so I think it will work with a bit of persuasion. A good look around the camera settings to ensure BI5 has the correct ONVIF settings, and if that fails, an email to Support.
