Re: Licence key
Which is stoopid for a licensee to have to get approval to install it on whatever PC they see fit at the moment. But... it appears that dems da rulz. I think it is to stop somebody attempting to use the same key on multiple pc's at the same time. It must have happened so they protect against it. It...

Re: Annke C800 question
I think BVR is the only file format that will give you the best functionality with BI5. The BI help file states: It’s recommended that you retain the default, yet proprietary, BVR file format. There are a great many software features which rely on this simple flat-file format. It’s the only one offe...

Re: Object Detection Anomaly
I also think we could do with a simple clear explanation. I have always wondered if these different trigger methods are AND/OR and if they can prevent each other working. Did you look to see if the help file has any new information ? It's possible now we have DeepStack integrated

Re: Blue Iris App Alerts Search
Hiya, 1. If you select a live camera feed (not a recording feed) on the android app a calendar icon will appear at the top right hand side of the screen. You can select a day that way and see the recordings. 2. Even 15fps is a bit too much if this is home cctv, but yes, you need to save it in the gu...

Are you exporting to an internal drive, or some external device ?

Re: How can I use an old android tablet as a doorcam/ home auto tablet ?
After a week of testing, I can tell you that this is a dead end. The S5 got far too hot to the touch being powered up with the camera streaming 24/7. It managed to turn itself off at 06:21 today, so at least it's had a rest. I may try another app, but I think this won't fly  On the other hand, ...

Re: Issue with Hikvision DS-2CD6D54G1-IZS PanoVu & Blue Iris
I know that support regularly tell us that the "key" (I-frame) should be 1, and maybe down to 0.5, so I think yours are set too low. Can you try changing I frame interval to get it to 1 (in BI5) on the worst camera and see if it helps ?

Hi,
1. Are you using base settings for H264/H265 ? (Not H264+ etc)
2. What are your i-frames set to, and what does BI5 show they are set to ?
