Re: Older Version Downloads?
I’m not too sure why you are expecting BI to keep what is now regarded as a legacy version of the software? I own a license for Windows NT but last time I looked MS don’t offer a download link for it. When I purchased BI I downloaded a copy of BI and have that stored so should the need arise and I n...

Re: New Computer - Evaluation Version Watermark
The point is that I already purchased the software. Just because I bought a new computer shouldn't mean more money for Blue Iris. It's a shady way to do business. The point is you didn’t read the T&Cs when you made the purchase! Essentially, whatever version of BI that is available on the date ...

Re: Restart after update.
In the past if you password had complex characters the BI start as service dialog that asks for the password wouldn’t recognise the password and would fail. I presumed back then it was due to filtering in that password field but I had thought this had been reported back and fixed. If it is still an ...

It’s on the other site isn’t it?HeneryH wrote:There is a database of user installations with the number of pixels/sec being processed and the CPU with usage.
Anyone have that link handy?
Might serve as a way to compare systems but since substreams it might not give a true picture.

Re: BlueIris Drive Drive(s) Over Quota
I personally don’t move anything around, I have 2 drives and have half my cams recording straight to one and the others recording to the other. I then limit each drive by space and not age. No moving clips around at all. In terms of which cams write to which, I logically split them so if for example...

Re: How Do I adjust hardware zoom on a varifocal lens camera?
Your camera needs to be able to support ONVIF commanding AND you need to set up the ONVIF settings in the camera setup. I'm forgetting the specifics now but play around with the ONVIF setup for your camera in BI. Maybe inspect your camera in the BI camera settings and see if ONVIF control is availa...

Check if you have audio enabled for any cams that don’t have audio.
Wild guess but recently there have been a lot of issues re a recent change for audio watchdog.

Re: How Do I adjust hardware zoom on a varifocal lens camera?
I don’t think BI does what you want it to do. Some of my cams are vari-zoom and I can only set the zoom when I log into the camera GUI using a browser. The PTZ functionality must be some sort of standard which BI can make use of to move a proper PTZ cam around but these vari-zoom can only zoom so no...

Decline in Windows? Can you link to the article as I’d like to have a read. Why do people always seem to blame Windows for an app related problem? My BI PC has been running for well over 3 years and the only times it has restarted is when I choose to install Windows updates. Yes BI has crashed, quit...

Re: Lost my License, What to do while waiting for Support?
You can find the license key by simply clicking the 'Get Support' button at the lower right of the main Settings page (just below the Upgrade/Renew button), then navigate down to the Email Support option and click the 'Copy' button. This copies all of the relevant system and user info (including th...
