Re: NDAA Compliant Cameras

I think we have discussed this before. My view is that if you run your cameras on a different LAN with no internet connection, it doesn't matter which mothership the cameras attempt to connect to. I agree. A lot of cam manufacturers are charging a lot more for compliant cams, I’d rather pocket the ...

Re: Migrated BI to new Server but license?

As I’ve mentioned before, in my opinion the management of the licensing model is all screwed up. It would would take little to no effort to have all the major stable releases available on the BI website so that users are able to download their required version instead of trying to locate a version o...

Re: Migrated BI to new Server but license?

We see this a lot. It's a mess. You are correct that you either need the older version or a support plan. You can get that older version of BI5, but not from the official site; they keep them at ipcamtalk but it's not a friendly forum. I think I need to bring this to Ken's attention. I raised this ...

Re: Is it possible to use demo version for setup

Doesn't demo mode just mean unlicensed, banner overlay and maybe some features disabled? I would think you could set up the new machine (living with the banner and maybe feature disable) and then move the key from the old machine to the new machine. That’s not what he wants to do, I think he want t...

Re: Check FPS and Key Rates Warning!

Have you tried changing a few options such h265 to h264 to see if any of them enable the iframe setting?

Adding Thermal camera

Preethi wrote: For importing the thermal camera feed into Blue Iris alongside the normal vision stream, make sure the camera's thermal video stream is supported by Blue Iris and set the software to identify and display it.
A lot of words for a non information post?

No idea but it would be worth checking in your BI clips folders to see if that shortcut file is there?

Re: Older Version Downloads?

What is infuriating to developers is when customers demand lifetime access to the developer's talents and resources without paying a penny. I personally don’t view being able to download a particular version of the product especially given the licensing model access to developers talents! Maybe the...

Re: Older Version Downloads?

It's frustrating when purchasing a product doesn't guarantee access to updates or support without additional fees. Transparency and customer satisfaction should be priorities to avoid feeling misled or exploited. What is infuriating to developers is when customers demand lifetime access to the deve...

Re: newby with camera connection problems

In its most basic essence you should simply be able to add a new camera, type in its IP address, then username and password, BI will then attempt to scan the IP address for camera info and bingo you should have a new camera in BI with the video stream.

So have you attempted to do this?
