Re: Are there any wired IP doorbell cameras?
I have been looking at car cctv cameras over the last few days to see if any of them were small enough to be used as a door peephole camera. The idea was they could be cylindrical to be pushed into a hole drilled in to a car, and they would be weatherproof. The ones I did find were too bulky, or ver...

Re: Confusion about access to updates to V5
Interesting, some changes have been made to the BI5 update screen. My i5-3330 BI5 installation support and maintenance plan has just expired, and if I go to update BI5 it won't allow me to update past my present version as it is ghosted out. I can remain with present/ install the latest critical upd...

That sounds right. Could you have the main stream swapped over with the sub-stream in settings ?I thought the recordings is suppose to record in HD be default or am I wrong?

Re: Unknown Errors in Log
Hi aj132,
I've had a look at my logs, and I don't have any of those errors at all. I'm saving files to local internal drives - are you doing anything different ? USB/ NAS etc ?

Re: Constant crashing after about 48hrs
So three cameras, and it only fails when you have them added, but not when you remove them via the registry. That sounds like corruption of a setting file, although you have already tried a Windows rebuild and setting up from scratch which should have overcome it (unless you reloaded the exported se...

Re: is Blue Iris a background service demon?
Hi roadkill401, I think you already have most of your comments answered, but: 1. Windows 10 updates - On both my Win10 Home and Pro pc's, I have the option to "Pause Updates for seven days" on the Updates page. When I click that it gives me "Pause updates for seven more days". By...

Re: BlueIris Web Server is grabbing the wrong LAN and IP
Hi risingfish, Can you send a message to support about this ? It would be good to get an answer. I agree about the manual IP setting - maybe they will make an auto/manual setting for those that need it. I'm old school with static IP addresses set on the cameras and servers. I did wonder in the other...
