Re: Camera Key degrades over time
Also increase you receive buffer from 6 to say 12 or even 18 to see if that makes a difference.

Re: Camera Key degrades over time
Try dropping the frame rate down to 20 or even 15 to see if it helps, also don’t forget to also drop the iframe rate.
You don’t really need 30fps for security cams, I run most of mine at 15fps.

Re: Blue Iris 4 -- max connections to camera?
If BI hasn’t been updated then it’s more than likely that a recent Windows or drivers update is the cause of the issue?

Re: Blue Iris 4 -- max connections to camera?
Can you work out what has changed recently, wondering if maybe you’ve installed a Windows update?

Re: Multiple NIC's and subnetting
I'm sure I posted on this thread before but a recent glitch meant that all my posts got removed. My BI PC like others here has 2 network cards installed. 1 is connected to my home network, the other to a POE switch (CCTV LAN) which all the cams are plugged into. All cams have static IPs set as there...

Re: I Am Starting to Regret "Upgrading" to Blue Iris 5
A typical Wi-Fi access point will probably support 2 maybe 3 if you’re lucky wireless cams before you start to see issues which might be adding to the issue. If you really want to keep running wireless cams then you should install additional access points so that you only have a couple of cams conne...

Re: Alerts not showing in list but are recording
In terms of giving remote access to support, only you can decide if you’re happy with doing this. Me personally, I’d have no issues with doing this for the reasons below. BI doesn’t have an official list of cams that it supports and PC configuration that you run it on, this presents a huge issue as ...

Re: Alerts not showing in list but are recording
I’ve also noticed something similar on my system but for me it only seems to affect 2 of my cams. Both are Dahua 5442T, one is a fixed lens, the other a ZE. Both are setup for external triggers via ONVIF with no BI motion detection enabled. Both cams are also cloned with the cloned cams setup with B...

Did this work before and has recently started misbehaving? What OS do you run?
