Re: is Blue Iris a background service demon?
Hi roadkill401, I think you already have most of your comments answered, but: 1. Windows 10 updates - On both my Win10 Home and Pro pc's, I have the option to "Pause Updates for seven days" on the Updates page. When I click that it gives me "Pause updates for seven more days". By...

Re: BlueIris Web Server is grabbing the wrong LAN and IP
Hi risingfish, Can you send a message to support about this ? It would be good to get an answer. I agree about the manual IP setting - maybe they will make an auto/manual setting for those that need it. I'm old school with static IP addresses set on the cameras and servers. I did wonder in the other...

Re: BI Android 3.0.28 no longer push notification thumbnails
Hi, did you add your licence details from BI5 ? Without that you will be at the bottom of the priority listI've emailed support a few days ago. No response.

Re: PC Location
Yup, similar here. My BI5 server is running headless in a room where multiple spinning drives and fans don't matter. I use Ui3 on PC's and Firesticks (Silk Browser) around the house, and use Splashtop (Remote desktop viewer) to do maintenance.

Re: Does Deepstack need motion alerts?
I believe so. When I tried DS with my Dahua doing the motion detection itself and giving BI5 only an Onvif trigger DS did nothing. One of the forum members pointed out that DS needed an Alert image to process, which I clearly didn't have. It seemed so obvious  I'm out of the DS testing at the ...

Re: nothing in C:\Program Files\Blue Iris 5\log directory - am i missing a config?
I have nothing in that folder either. What I can tell you is that in the Blue Iris Status (Click the wiggly graph line at the top of the BI page) menu, there is a Log tab on the left. There is a tick box at the bottom that I usually leave off, but you can tick to get those logs saved. On my pc it th...

Quite a few emails later, and this has been fixed in 5.4.7.10.
Tested and OK on my main system.

Re: Check user/password
Hi, it depends what sort of reset you did to the camera. A power reset, or a reset to default settings. An IP camera will have a user/password and you will have them set up in the BI settings for that camera. If your camera has been reset to default user/password, then you either need to change them...
