So since I'm on .12... can/should I be able to rollback (not go to 13) and then upgrade past to 5.3.8.x? Or is something broke in .12 that I've already gotten stuck with? Well now 5.3.8.x is out... though it still calls for the same manual installation from 5.3.7.12.

The unfortunate reality is that 80% of cameras on the market are, at the core, either Dahua or Hikvision. Companies tweak the firmware or slap different stickers on them, but so many are still the same. I struggle with my Amcrests because I've seen good reviews, their site - although very annoying w...

While I'd like resolution sooner, if they do another Webinar this Friday I'll be sure to hammer it. Sitting here on .12 (and hoping issue is with going to .13 and not an issue of going FROM .12)

I haven't done it myself but according to the site, any support renewal purchased now is for BI5 and includes 4 -> 5 upgrade.

I agree with Tim, this sounds like network blocking, SSID's not crossing, etc. Hodge podging extenders is not the same as a true mesh network.
