Re: YN88 SOLAR CAMERA
Thats the best way I can think of, check your DHCP server (probably your router). The lease list could be pretty long.... is there a sticker on the camera (or the box) that says the MAC address?

Re: Hello need some direction to find a solution
Actually the autoban setting is in the settings!
But yeah, while no one wants to become part of a botnet and I'm hoping you don't have any cameras strategically placed near your showers, in the grand scheme of things we are low profile targets. Do your due diligence and you're fine.

Re: Hello need some direction to find a solution
Thats a tricky one as good malware (is that a thing?) is designed to be stealthy and elusive. Without good insight into whats happening on your network, it's nearly impossible. Consumer/ISP grade modem router combos have limited logging if any, but they may have some. As we've seen on these forums, ...

Re: Networking question - help please...
Yes sir, thats where I came up with it. Right now your BI server thinks the camera is on a different subnet (technically it is) so it sends the traffic to the default gateway which then continues to route to the ISP (since it's also not a local subnet - though the traffic will die at the ISP). In yo...

I haven't done it myself but I've read (somewhere, either here or the other forum) about simply using BI to connect to the NVR and let it do the converting. It's worth trying as you're out nothing if it doesn't work.

Re: Hello need some direction to find a solution
So anyone scanning random ngrok addresses can find it and log in. How would they login? Isn't there a user name and password set? Well thats the entire point. How secure is the password? For example, many of the camera exploits circumvent the password. If the password is enough, then why do you nee...

Re: NTP server on second NIC with no gateway ?
I'm not particularly familiar with Meinburg but the way it SHOULD work is that your server simply has one routing table. If the server needs to talk to something on 192.168.10.x, the routing table says to use NIC2. If it wants to talk to 192.168.1.x it uses NIC1. If it wants to talk to time.nist.gov...

Re: Networking question - help please...
This would depend on the network a bit to say this is full proof but from what I'm gathering I think this would work.... You could try changing the subnet mask on the BI server itself to 255.255.254.0. While I generally wouldn't recommend having an incorrect mask, if both devices are on the same phy...

Re: recently purchased wired I.P. cameras from Amazon that easily configure and set up in the $30 to $50 range?
I've liked my SV3C cameras I've bought off Amazon. Depending on the model they can be in or just above your price range. There is of course some configuration you can do in the camera itself (image quality, timecodes, etc - like all cameras) but BI scanned and properly detected them just fine. The h...
